The biggest challenge of our concept for the Asia Hung project was that we wanted the actors to start in a bamboo forest and then come into the restaurant located in a mall. My part in this project was to make this happen. On set I did the supervision. I was responsible that our bluescreen footage was shot properly so we can work with it in post production. In Cinema 4D then I fully created the 3D bamboo forest with the accurate lightning and textures. Tracking the camera movement was the most challenging part followed by keying the bluescreen material with all the real plants on set. Doing the compositing and the color grading of the whole scene and watching it working was very satisfying.
