BVG - VÖLLIG LOSGELÖST
Singing bags controlled by puppeteers — just a standard day on a BVG campaign. I was brought on board to provide a mix of invisible VFX and complex 3D compositing for this highly creative and iconic spot.
My responsibilities covered everything from precise screen replacements to rhythmic motion design. However, the centerpiece of my work was the ambitious final shot: seamlessly transitioning a live-action drone flight over a Berlin bus all the way out into outer space. A classic, pre-AI project that required pure technical craftsmanship, 3D world-building, and high-end compositing.

THE FINAL SHOT:FROM BERLIN TO SPACE
The climax of the film required a flawless, uninterrupted zoom-out from reality into the cosmos. I built the Earth and the surrounding starfield entirely from scratch in Cinema 4D.
The real „problem-solving“ moment here was the technical execution: I had to stabilize the raw drone footage, meticulously match the virtual 3D camera to the physical flight path, and craft atmospheric cloud layers to bridge the gap between live-action and CGI. It’s a complex VFX shot designed to look completely effortless.
INVISIBLE VFX& SCREEN REPLACEMENTS
A flawless commercial often relies on the effects you don’t even notice. Throughout the film, I was responsible for the essential „invisible VFX“—delivering precise motion tracking and seamless screen replacements for various smartphones and smartwatches. As an additional layer to match the musical energy of the spot, I also animated rhythmic split-screen layouts to keep the edit flowing perfectly.
