McDonald'sEs ist soweit

When the deadline is tight, you need someone who hits the ground running. For the McDonald’s „Big Rösti“ TVC and the accompanying Luca Dante music video, 27 Kilometer Entertainment brought me in during the final, critical stages of the online phase.

With the clock ticking, I seamlessly integrated into their running pipeline to help push the project over the finish line. My focus was on tackling the remaining high-end compositing tasks, complex clean-up retouches, and screen replacements. It’s all about delivering technical precision when the pressure is highest.

CLEAN-UP& RETOUCHING

The invisible art of removing distractions. A significant part of my work during this final phase involved extensive clean-up and retouching across multiple shots.

This included everything from removing unwanted set equipment and fixing AI transition artifacts to the meticulous task of painting out camera reflections on cars. Whether it was replacing projections on glasses or cleaning up the background, the goal was always a flawless, distraction-free image that keeps the viewer focused on the product and the performance.

SCREEN REPLACEMENT& MICRO-DETAILS

Even under tight deadlines, there’s always room for detail. For a crucial smartphone shot, I built, tracked, and integrated a custom Instagram feed UI from scratch.

To give the shot a personal touch — and as a hidden Easter egg — I populated the fake feed with my own craft beer channel (@pivo.stevo) alongside my girlfriend’s account. It’s proof that technical screen replacements don’t just have to be pixel-perfect; they can have a bit of personality, too.
